MATERIAL: The Little Yoga Mat is made out of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) a biodegradable, non-toxic, hypoallergenic foam that will not harm your child. A common less expensive material used to make yoga mats is PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or vinyl. Vinyl is a toxic plastic. Many kids are allergic to latex another ingredient in some yoga mats. The Little Yoga Mat is latex free.
COLORS:Most yoga mats have 1-2 colors. The Little Yoga Mat has 4-5 different colors - LOTUS design has 5 and SUN design has 4. Our custom colors are made with soy based ink creating a complete lead free eco-friendly product. The Little Yoga Mat is CPSIA certified.
SIZE: The Little Yoga Mat is not a standard size mat. Most children's mats are 2 ft. wide the same as an adult mat. The Little Yoga mat is custom cut for little ones under the age of 5. It fits their bodies perfectly (14" x 36").
DESIGN:Artist Nicaela Callimanopulos designed our two mats. The inspired designs reflect yoga themes and images recognized by many yoga-practicing parents. "For all these reasons The Little Yoga Mat costs more than the average mat. They are one-of-a-kind and the smallest mat on the market. Worth the investment in our children and the environment."Jensen Wheeler Wolfe - Owner of The Little Yoga Mat.
